Pump console

Console pumps K, KM designed for pumping clean water for industrial purposes (except sea) with rn 6...9, a temperature from 273 to 358 K (0 to 85°C) and from 273 to 378 K (0 to 105°C) for the type KM pumps, and other fluids similar with water in density, viscosity and chemical activity and containing solid particles up to 0,2 mm, which volume concentration does not exceed 0.1%.

The design and main materials

Cantilever pumps type KM centrifugal cantilever, single-stage, one-way entry of liquid to the impeller of the closed type.

Pump shaft seal - single, double stuffing box or single mechanical.The dimensions of the hydraulic part of the console pumps vary from pump size, but the design of all pumps is the same.The working chamber of the flow part of the pump console is made in the body and lid and is an annular channel communicating with the inlet and outlet of the pump.The movement of liquid medium in the annular channel and giving it the required energy is the impeller. Existing in the impeller hole relieve it from axial forces.Maximum permissible excess pressure at the inlet of the pump: for pumps with soft seal - 0,35 MPa (3,5 kgf/cm2), with mechanical seal up to 0.6 MPa (6.0 kgf/cm2).Material of wetted parts is gray cast iron.

Cantilever pumps are the most common of all pumps included in the group of Centrifugal pumps.

Today available in two types of modifications of pumps: According to GOST parametric - type (Pump To 20/30, Pump К45/30, etc.) the numbers in the abbreviation of this pump indicate flow in cubic metres per hour and pressure, in accordance with the International standard ISO 2858-78 (pump К80-50-200, Pump To 100-80-160, etc.)

Unlike pumps and KM is that the pump is horizontal, relying on the housing and driven by an electric motor through the elastic sleeve - finger clutch.

Pump KM - cantilever monoblock pump. These pumps are characterized by the fact that their equipment uses an electric motor with an elongated shaft, at the end of which is mounted the impeller.
